Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

About Us:Our Client is a specialist school dedicated to supporting students with autism. They aim to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers each student to thrive academically and socially. At Veritas we are committed to working collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our client's learners, and we are seeking a skilled School Administrator to join their staff.
Role Overview:As a School Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our school. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting our staff, and ensuring that our school runs efficiently. Your experience with school management systems like SIMS or Arbor will be essential in maintaining accurate records and providing support to both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student records and data using SIMS or Arbor School Management Systems.
- Assist with the administration of admissions, attendance, and reporting processes.
- Provide administrative support to teaching staff, including scheduling meetings and managing communications.
- Coordinate and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Support the school leadership team in various administrative tasks as needed.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, and stakeholders regarding student information.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for school governance and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a school administrative role, preferably in an SEN or specialist setting.
- Proficiency in SIMS or Arbor School Management Systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
