Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our inclusive school community.
Role Overview:
- Position: Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Croydon, London
- Start Date: Immediate, pending registration completion
- Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week
- Pay: £85 to £110 per day (dependent on experience, school, and location)
- Contract Type: Long-term temporary with potential for permanent placement
Requirements:
- Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
- Experience in educational settings is essential
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students is desired
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the learning and development of students in the classroom
- Assisting with individual education plans and behavioural management strategies
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments
- Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students
- Engaging students in educational activities and promoting independence
