Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Assist with differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and elements of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management.
- Work closely with students to promote their social and emotional well-being.
- Help create and implement tailored learning strategies to enhance student engagement and progress.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of EAL and SEN needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
