Job Title: Room Leader
Location: LS28
Employment Type: Full-time, 4 or 5 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team, located in the LS28 area. As a Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and education for children under your supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a designated room within the childcare center, overseeing the daily operations and activities.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities, tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Supervise and support a team of educators and assistants, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
- Establish positive and collaborative relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a childcare setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Sound knowledge of child development theories, early years curriculum frameworks, and best practices in childcare.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a genuine passion for working with children.
