Title: Special Needs Early Years Assistant
Location: Tong, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Early Years Assistant to join our inclusive team in Tong (Bradford), West Yorkshire. If you have a passion for supporting children with special needs, particularly in a one-to-one capacity, and you are committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children with special needs in an Early Years setting.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing tailored activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere that encourages the social, emotional, and educational development of each child.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special needs is desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with young children.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.
- A genuine interest in making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
