About Us:We are a vibrant and nurturing nursery located in the heart of Lancaster, providing a safe and supportive environment for children aged 0-5. working Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Our team is dedicated to fostering a love of learning and development in our children. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our nursery.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and caring environment where children can thrive and develop.
- Monitor, assess, and document each child's progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
- Collaborate with parents and carers to support children's development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Lead and support the nursery staff in day-to-day activities and uphold the nursery's standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified Nursery Teacher with a minimum Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for working with young children.
- Up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
