Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Support students' academic and personal development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to ensure the highest standards of teaching
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' learning
