Are you passionate about early childhood education?
Do you possess a deep understanding of phonics and its importance in early literacy development?
If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team we are currenting looking for a reception Teacher to work in a vibrant primary school in the WF7, area of Wakefield.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing timely feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a holistic approach to child development.
- Utilize phonics strategies effectively to support children's literacy acquisition.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working within an EYFS setting, preferably in a Nursery class.
- Strong understanding of phonics principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
