**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons across various age groups.- Develop and implement engaging sports and fitness programs that cater to diverse student needs.- Encourage and promote a positive attitude towards physical activity and overall well-being.- Support the development of students' physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities and competitions.- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education with the broader school curriculum.- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
**Requirements:**
- Relevant qualifications or significant experience in sports coaching or teaching PE.- Strong knowledge of various sports and physical education activities.- Ability to engage and motivate students from different backgrounds and abilities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is advantageous but not essential.- Experience in organising school sports events and competitions.
