Our Year 1 class is eager to welcome a passionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to support their learning journey.
Role and Responsibilities:As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in our Year 1 class, you will:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support individual and small group learning activities.
- Help develop and implement tailored phonics programs, with a focus on Red Rose Phonics.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in school activities and continuous professional development.
Requirements:- Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly Year 1.
- Phonics Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in teaching phonics, ideally with Red Rose Phonics.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Desirable:- Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school.
- Ability to adapt to various educational needs and learning styles.
