Location: Primary School, LS28 Pudsey

We are looking for a forward-thinking SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering tailored support and education to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure that each child's individual needs are met, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
- Adapt and deliver high-quality teaching and learning activities to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide integrated support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, promoting self-esteem and confidence.
- Engage with parents and carers to communicate progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEND practices, legislation, and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in SEND education.
