Year 4 Teacher - JOB SHARE - 2 days per week (0.4FT)
A primary school in Lancaster is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join their team in September 2024. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality education and nurturing the growth and development. This is a job share opprtunity, working 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday).
This position is to start in September 2024 for the full academic year (2024/2025)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of KS2 children.
- Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate children's learning across all areas of the KS2 curriculum.
- Assess children's progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children's holistic development.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in KS2.
- Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
