Location: Romford

Role: Full-Time Teaching Assistant, Monday - Friday from 8.00am - 5.30pm

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: From £26,000 per annum

A wonderful, independent Pre-School in the heart of Golders Green are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in providing exceptional care and education to their of 4-year-olds.

About Us: This lovely Pre-School offers a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Their curriculum is designed to provide enriching learning experiences that foster growth and development. The team are committed to delivering high-quality education tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child.

Teaching Assistant Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a class teacher and experienced practitioners to support the learning and development of our young learners. Your role will encompass assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities for teaching assistant:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher and practitioners to implement the curriculum and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Provide individualized support to students to facilitate their learning and development.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom activities and resources.
  • Utilize the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards, to enhance learning opportunities for students.
  • Requirements for teaching assistant:

  • Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of each child.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
