Location: PE9

Position: Full-Time (Over 4/5 Days)

Role Overview: As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in our nursery team, providing high-quality care and education to children. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging activities, observing and assessing children's progress, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Childcare & Education:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for all children.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments, maintaining accurate records.
  • Forest School Program:

  • Participate in our Forest School activities, encouraging children to explore and learn in a natural setting.
  • Promote environmental awareness and outdoor education.
  • Family Support:

  • Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, offering support and guidance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively about children's progress and any concerns.
  • Staff Development & Wellbeing:

  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture focused on staff wellbeing.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Passion for early childhood education and development.
  • Knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
