Position: Part-Time Primary School Teacher and SENCoCompany: Veritas Education
Are you a qualified Primary School Teacher with a passion for inclusive education and a strong commitment to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Primary School Teacher and SENCo at a reputable primary school in the Rossendale Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective primary education to students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide targeted support to students with SEN, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
- Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure effective communication and support for SEN students.
- Contribute to the school's overall SEN strategy and policies.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and attend relevant professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Primary School Teacher with relevant teaching qualifications.
- SENCo qualification or substantial experience in SEN coordination.
- Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, parents, and external partners.
