Job role: Girls PE Teacher
The role: I am currently looking to recruit a number of Girls PE Teaches on behalf of my partner secondary schools based across West Yorkshire in area's such as Wakefield, Leeds, Kirklees and Bradford. These are full-time positions starting in the new academic year covering all lessons across KS3/KS4 making sure pupils are always learning.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs of girls at KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and clubs.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other members of the PE department to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
- Experience teaching PE to secondary school students, preferably in an all-girls setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity within the school community.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young people.
