**About the Role:**Veritas Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic **Science Technicians** to join our team and support partner secondary schools in the Bradford area. This is a full-time position, starting in September, ideal for individuals looking to make a tangible impact in educational environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for practical science lessons.- Assist teachers with setting up and conducting experiments.- Ensure health and safety standards are met in the laboratory.- Manage and organize the inventory of scientific supplies.- Provide technical support and guidance to students during practical sessions.
**What We're Looking For:**- A strong background in science (a degree or relevant experience in a scientific discipline is preferred).- Previous experience working in a laboratory or educational setting.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A passion for supporting students' learning and development.
