Job Description:
A North Leeds Primary School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team starting in September. This role is essential in providing quality care and education to young children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Key Worker for a group of children, fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families.
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), implementing tailored strategies to aid their development and inclusion.
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that stimulate the children's learning and development.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Early Years setting is essential.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient approach, especially when working with children with SEN.
- Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or equivalent.
