We are seeking a passionate and skilled ICT Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEND school in Redhill, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Teach ICT up to GCSE level, delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Follow and contribute to the National Curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
Support students with a range of complex needs, including those with Autism, using appropriate strategies and adaptations.
Work as part of a collaborative and supportive team focused on student development and well-being.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
PGCE or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Strong ICT subject knowledge and the ability to teach up to GCSE.
Experience working with children with Autism and an understanding of strategies to support SEND learners.
A working knowledge of complex learning needs and how to differentiate effectively.
Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour-management skills.
