EYFS Teacher (Phonics Focus) Location: WF1, Wakefield Daily Rate: £135-£185 (Depending on Experience)
Are you an experienced EYFS Teacher with a passion for teaching phonics? Do you have a strong understanding of phonics education and want to make a difference in young learners' early development? If so, we want you to join our diverse and welcoming primary school in Wakefield, supporting children on their early years education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Phonics education within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Create engaging and stimulating lesson plans that promote early literacy skills and language development.
Provide tailored support to students to ensure progress in phonemic awareness and reading fluency.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning and development.
Manage challenging behaviours effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in Early Years settings.
Strong understanding of Phonics teaching methods, with experience in structured phonics programs.
Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.
Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
Experience supporting children with SEN is an advantage.
