Part-Time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher Location: Rossendale Valley, Lancashire Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Part-time (3 days per week - flexible), 1-year contract with potential for extension Salary: Main and Upper Pay Scale Exclusive to Veritas Education
Veritas Education is proud to be working exclusively with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream Primary School in the Rossendale Valley, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Part-time SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
About the Role:
3 days per week (flexibility available on working days)
Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Supporting children with a range of additional needs and learning difficulties
Working closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external agencies to provide tailored learning opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN provision
Strong understanding of a range of learning difficulties, social and emotional needs
Patient, nurturing, and passionate about supporting every child to reach their full potential
Able to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual needs
Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to working with staff and parents
