Are you a recent STEM graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for education? This is a unique opportunity to gain classroom experience, make a real difference to students' academic progress, and train to teach in your second year. There are roles available for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Further Maths and Economics - depending on your specialism.
About the Role:
As a Coach, you will work closely with A-Level students, helping them develop subject mastery, build revision skills, and prepare for both exams and university pathways. You'll deliver small group and 1:1 support, run intervention sessions, and adapt your approach to suit the needs of individual learners.
This is an ideal role for aspiring teachers seeking a route into the profession with full support and training, all while contributing to the success of highly engaged and ambitious students.
There is a teacher training opportunity on offer after your first year with the school.
What We're Looking For:
An undergraduate degree in your chosen specialism (minimum upper second)
- Strong A-levels, including A-level Mathematics
A genuine interest in teaching and working with young people
Excellent subject knowledge, especially of the A-Level curriculum in your chosen specialism
The ability to build rapport and support students empathetically
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
