Leeds & Wakefield | Overseeing Two Established Nurseries + New LS7 Opening
Are you an experienced Nursery Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, independent nursery group as an Area Manager, overseeing two well-established nursery settings across Leeds and Wakefield, while playing a key role in the launch and development of an exciting new setting in LS7.
This is far more than an operational management role. You'll be joining a unique nursery group with a genuine passion for providing exceptional early years experiences, fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and belonging. The Opportunity
As Area Manager, you will work closely with the owner to help drive the vision and continued success of the nurseries. You'll support and mentor the Nursery Managers, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and confidence to lead their teams effectively while maintaining the highest standards of care and education.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, building strong teams, and making a real impact across multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple nursery settings
- Support, coach, and develop Nursery Managers and leadership teams
- Work closely with the owner to achieve business and operational objectives
- Drive high standards across safeguarding, compliance, and childcare delivery
- Support the successful opening and growth of the new LS7 nursery
- Help create positive cultures where staff feel supported, engaged, and motivated
- Build strong relationships with families, teams, and the wider community
- Ensure each setting continues to deliver outstanding experiences for children
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous experience in Nursery Management or Multi-Site Management
- Is a confident and inspiring leader
- Has a strong understanding of Early Years regulations and the EYFS framework
- Is passionate about developing teams and supporting others to succeed
- Shares a love for outdoor learning, Forest School, and child-led experiences
- Values diversity, inclusion, and creating positive workplace cultures
- Has excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
