Day-to-Day & Short-Term Secondary School Cover Opportunities
Veritas Education is currently seeking confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Rossendale and surrounding areas. We have a variety of day-to-day and short-term assignments available, offering flexible work to suit your availability.
The Role:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Supporting students in their learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment
- Working across a range of subjects within secondary schools
Requirements:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence leading a classroom independently
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Flexible, professional and reliable approach
