Veritas Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Morecambe in their search for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their Year 4 class as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate TA who enjoys supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally while working closely alongside the class teacher to create a positive and productive learning environment.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils within a Year 4 classroom.
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Providing general classroom support and assisting with lesson preparation.
- Encouraging pupil engagement and maintaining high expectations of behaviour.
- Using strong classroom management skills to support learning and minimise disruption.
- Supporting pupils both individually and in small groups where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a minimum TA2 qualification (or equivalent).
- Have previous experience working within a primary school or classroom setting.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Be confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
- Have a proactive, positive, and flexible approach.
- Be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
