Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming nurseries in Surrey. Whether you're looking for full-time work or just a few days each week, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in Early Years settings, with flexible opportunities to suit your availability.In this role, you will be supporting children age 0-5 years, fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, and helping each child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities for Unqualified Nursery Practitioner:
- Support children's learning, development, and well-being through play-based activities
- Help create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
- Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development
- Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in nurseries, schools, childcare, or a similar setting
- A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
- A friendly, caring, and proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
