School Cleaner - Colne
Location: Colne Hours: 3:30pm until 5:45pm - Monday - Friday Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming school in Colne for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous cleaning experience (school experience is desirable but not essential)
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Have a good understanding of health and safety practices
- Hold a COSHH qualification or be willing to complete COSHH training before starting the role
- Be committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff
