Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Kirklees area. This is a part-time position, working three days per week, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Psychology lessons at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 within a well-established department.
The Role
As a Psychology Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
- Support students to achieve their academic potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental success.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Psychology in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
- Be passionate about raising attainment and student outcomes.
- Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be able to provide references covering the last two years.
