We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established secondary school for an Administration and Reprographics Assistant to join their support team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a busy school environment, has strong attention to detail and can provide an efficient and professional administrative service to staff and students.

The Role

As an Administration and Reprographics Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. You will be responsible for providing administrative support while ensuring that reprographic services are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative support to the school and wider staff team.
  • Producing, copying and preparing high-quality teaching and learning materials.
  • Managing reprographic requests and ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
  • Supporting with the preparation and distribution of school documents and resources.
  • Communicating professionally with staff, students, parents and visitors when required.
  • Assisting with general office duties and contributing to the effective running of the school.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school to meet changing priorities.
  • About You

    The successful candidate will be highly organised, dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and a positive, flexible approach to your work.

    Previous experience in a school or education setting would be advantageous, although candidates with strong administrative experience from other sectors will also be considered.

    You will ideally have:

  • Previous administrative or office-based experience.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • A professional and approachable manner.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using standard office software.

    Salary & Contract

  • Salary: NJC Scale 1, Points 2-3, £28,220-£28,616 FTE
  • Actual salary: £24,680.32-£25,026.65
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Working weeks: 40 weeks per year (including 5 INSET days + 5 additional days)
  • Working pattern: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Location: Bromley
