We're a busy education recruitment agency seeking enthusiastic, reliable Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream primary schools in Wakefield and Kirklees. These roles start in September and are perfect for individuals who want to begin a career in education, gain hands‑on school experience, and make a positive impact on children's learning.
The Role
- Classroom support - helping teachers deliver engaging lessons
- Work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, adapting to different year groups as needed
- Support children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs and social‑emotional needs
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support
- Help create a calm, positive learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
What We're Looking For
- No formal qualifications required - just passion, reliability and a willingness to learn
- Experience with children (school, nursery, youth work, sports coaching or personal experience) is beneficial
- Confidence supporting pupils with SEND
- Flexibility to work across different classes and schools
- Strong communication and a nurturing approach
- Availability for September start dates
