Location: Waltham Forest, East London Salary: £1,800 - £2,300 per month Start Date: Immediate / September Contract: Permanent | Full-time
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Waltham forest is looking to appoint a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who holds a Level 3 qualification and is passionate about supporting children's early development.

Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging play-based activities
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Work with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Complete observations and contribute to children's learning journeys
- Support classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and independence
Requirements
Essential:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Experience working within an Early Years or school setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within EYFS
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of observations, assessments, and learning journeys
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Nurse
