The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting students in lessons across a variety of subjects
  • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
  • Assisting students with additional learning needs
  • Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Encouraging student confidence, participation, and academic progress
  • Providing classroom and administrative support where required

  • Able to provide references covering the last two years
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential. This could include tutoring, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, youth work, or care experience.
