Twickenham Full-Time | Term Time Only

Veritas Education is recruiting three Learning Support Assistants to join an ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in South West London.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with SEND and additional learning needs within lessons and around the school.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure students can access learning and make progress.
  • Provide academic, social and emotional support to individual students and small groups.
  • Promote confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
  • Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Requirements

    Essential:

  • Previous experience working within a school setting.
  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, proactive and resilient approach.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
