The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop a positive attitude towards mathematics
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
