The Role

  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom where every child feels safe, valued and understood.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, parents and external professionals to achieve the very best outcomes for pupils.
  • Assess, monitor and celebrate pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Build confidence, encourage independence and help every child reach their full potential.
  • We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Applications welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive, patient and resilient approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
