Veritas Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire, for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their committed team from September 2026 on a fixed-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their educational journey. The role is full time, initially for the Autumn Term, with the potential for extension. The school is looking for a teacher with recent EYFS experience who can create an inspiring, engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish.

  • Deliver engaging, creative and inspiring EYFS learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported to reach their full potential.
  • Promote children's development across all areas of learning through high-quality provision, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support early language, communication, phonics, reading, writing and mathematical development through exciting and purposeful activities.
  • Have high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement while fostering children's confidence and independence.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider EYFS team to plan, assess and provide the best possible outcomes for all children.
