Veritas Education are currently recruiting English Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Bury area, with roles available immediately and for September starts.
We are partnered with a number of supportive and well-established schools looking for passionate English specialists to support with:
- Day-to-day supply cover
- Short-term assignments
- Long-term roles with potential for permanent opportunities
???? The Role Includes:
- Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Teaching literature and language, supporting reading and writing development
- Following school schemes of work or delivering pre-planned lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Inspiring students and fostering a positive learning environment
✅ We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced unqualified English teachers
- Strong subject knowledge in English (Literature and Language)
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Reliable, flexible, and committed professionals
