We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to support young people in a nurturing educational setting in Darlington. This provision offers a structured, pupil-focused environment with small class sizes, strong pastoral support, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
- Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting with learning, emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
About You:
- Experience supporting young people with ASD, SEMH, trauma, anxiety or ADHD is highly advantageous
- Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
