Location: LS25 (Garforth, Kippax, Micklefield, Sherburn in Elmet & surrounding areas) Start Date: September Contract: Long‑term supply (full‑time) Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Primary Teacher to work on a long‑term supply basis across welcoming and well‑established primary schools in the LS25 area. Schools in LS25 include a mix of academies, community schools and Church of England primaries.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, value strong relationships with local schools, and want the security of a long‑term placement without the additional responsibilities of a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Teaching - Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Classroom Management - Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Assessment & Feedback - Track pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Adaptability - Confidently step into different school settings and year groups.
- Safeguarding - Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school policies.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in primary settings (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A flexible, positive and professional approach
- Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
- Reliability and commitment to long‑term placements

- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training
