A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, deliver targeted interventions, and provide classroom cover when required.

Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
Provide classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Assist with planning and delivering learning activities
Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and senior leaders
Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills
Desirable:
Experience delivering interventions and covering lessons
Knowledge of SEN support strategies
Experience working within a primary school setting
