EYFS Teacher - Burnley Area September 2026 Start MPS/UPS + Possible TLR for Experienced Teachers Permanent Position Open to ECTs and Experienced Teachers
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Burnley area is seeking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive setting with a strong focus on early childhood development, play-based learning, and nurturing the whole child. The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. Strong CPD, mentoring, and career development opportunities are available. Experienced teachers may also have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility with a TLR.
The Role:
The successful EYFS Teacher will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Nursery and/or Reception
- Plan engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Support early development in communication, language, and personal, social and emotional skills
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively
- Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Contribute positively to the wider EYFS team and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Be nurturing, enthusiastic, and committed to early years education
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and behaviour management
- Be reflective and committed to professional development
- ECTs welcome, with full support provided
- Experienced teachers may be considered for additional responsibility (TLR available)
