Veritas Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of secondary schools across Burnley and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure students remain engaged and on task
- Provide support to pupils where required
- Create a positive and productive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people (school, coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence leading a classroom independently
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- A genuine interest in education
