Are you an experienced early years practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Leeds to recruit a confident and experienced Senior Early Years Practitioner for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and nurturing setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality early years education and supporting the development of young children within a stimulating and engaging environment. The nursery places a strong emphasis on child-led learning, wellbeing, and creating positive early experiences that encourage every child to thrive.
As a Senior Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the setting, leading by example within the team, and helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. You will use your experience to support children's learning and development, build strong relationships with families, and contribute positively to the wider nursery team.
This role would suit an experienced practitioner who is confident within an early years setting and looking for a long-term opportunity to further develop their career within a high-quality nursery environment.
What we're looking for:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Proven experience working within an early years setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Confidence planning and delivering engaging activities to support children's development
- Ability to support and work collaboratively within a team
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child welfare
