About the Role
Veritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in the Haslingden area to recruit a dedicated EYFS SEN Teacher for September 2026.

You will take the lead in supporting pupils within the Early Years setting who have a range of additional needs, delivering tailored provision that enables every child to access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver adapted EYFS curriculum to meet a range of SEN needs
- Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment that supports early development
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCP targets)
- Use a range of strategies to support children with:
- Autism (ASD)
- Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS and/or SEN settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND frameworks
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate about making a genuine difference to children with additional needs
