Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Swanley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant for an Easter 2026 start.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
This role would suit a patient, proactive, and caring individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a positive school environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting
- A good understanding of strategies to support learning, communication, and behaviour
- A calm, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
- Encouraging pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Using creative and engaging methods to support learning
- Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to the class teacher
- Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
