Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a high-achieving independent school in Lambeth to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher for an Easter 2026 start.
This well-regarded independent school is known for its academic excellence, small class sizes, and strong pastoral care. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and personal development.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 education, enjoys creating inspiring and purposeful learning environments, and is committed to preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school.
The Ideal KS2 Teacher Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential * Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK school (ECTs welcome to apply) * Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices * A nurturing yet high-expectations approach to teaching and learning * Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Main Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated KS2 lessons * Creating a structured, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment * Assessing and tracking pupil progress to ensure excellent learning outcomes * Preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary education * Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
