Start Date: ASAP Pay: £100-£120 per day Contract: Flexible day‑to‑day supply & long‑term opportunities
Are you looking to gain valuable classroom experience in secondary schools across Middlesbrough? Veritas Education are looking to appoint confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools with both short‑term daily cover and longer‑term assignments.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre‑prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged in learning
- Support a variety of subjects across Key Stage 3 & 4
- Adapt confidently to different school environments
- Maintain a positive, calm and professional presence in the classroom
This role is ideal for:
- Graduates considering a future in teaching
- Experienced support staff ready for the next step
- Retired teachers looking for some extra work
- Sports coaches, youth workers, or anyone with strong behaviour management skills

Requirements
- Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work etc.)
- Strong classroom or behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
- Ability to travel to secondary schools across Middlesbrough and surrounding areas
