Science Teacher - Immediate Start
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Maidstone, Kent from 20th April 2026 through to the end of the academic year.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) and would suit a committed professional who is confident delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics are all welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach engaging and differentiated lessons to support learners of all abilities
Mark and assess student work in accordance with school policies
Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support achievement
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Uphold safeguarding and behaviour management standards
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven UK experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism
Availability to work full-time (5 days per week)
Commitment to planning, preparation, and marking
