Veritas Education are currently recruiting dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across the Kirklees area. We partner with a wide range of schools who require skilled support staff to help raise attainment, improve pupil engagement and contribute to a positive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils in KS3 & KS4 within the classroom, small groups, or 1:1
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
- Helping to create an inclusive environment where all pupils can succeed
- Working with SEND pupils, supporting their individual learning plans
- Contributing to safeguarding and the well‑being of young people in line with DfE and school policies
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people (school-based or transferable)
- A calm, supportive and professional approach
- Good communication and the ability to build positive relationships
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in education
- Ability to follow safeguarding, behaviour and school policies effectively
Desirable (but not essential):
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience supporting SEND
- Graduates looking for school-based experience
