Location: Nursery in Blackburn Hours: 12:30pm - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description:
We are looking for a Level 1 Early Years Practitioner to support a nursery setting in Blackburn during afternoon sessions. The role involves helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop through play.
Your responsibilities will include supporting daily routines, assisting with planned activities, supervising children both indoors and outdoors, and contributing to a positive early years environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
- A relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification (Level 1 or equivalent)
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
